I’m a retired Naval officer, engineer, and practicing data scientist who has a passion for learning, research, and sharing knowledge. Before serving as an engineer in the Navy, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, then I joined the Navy and completed Masters degrees in both Business Administration and Computer Science. Currently, I’m working on my PhD in Computer Science.

When I’m not diving into research or writing how-to books, you’ll find me enjoying life in Virginia Beach with my wife and three golden retrievers, exploring the outdoors, or sitting down to a good tabletop game.
